    • Photos of the install spot, the wall material, and any site limits, such as whether you can drill and run wires through the wall.
    • Your U.S. destination and the delivery deadline you need.
    • Your preferred finish and light color.
  • Have a logo? Send the original vector file if you have one (AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF). A “vector” made by auto-converting a JPG or PNG through a website is usually worse than a sharp image, so if that’s all you have, send a clear high-resolution photo instead.
  • If you don’t have a vector yet, send the form with your text and a rough size, then email a photo of the wall, and we’ll start from there.
  • The form can’t take attachments. Email your logo, artwork, and a photo of the wall to [email protected], right after you send the form or in reply to our first email.

Luxury Backlit Metal Letters

Details

Luxury is our brightest metal route. It uses a fabricated 304 stainless steel shell by default, with part of the CNC-engraved acrylic back panel left exposed outside the shell. Light passes through those exposed acrylic edges straight onto the wall, and you also see it directly. That creates a wider, brighter, more eye-catching halo that looks great from near or far. It suits boutique and flagship storefronts, hotel and restaurant entrances, and upscale retail and hospitality facades. It works indoors or outdoors, and day or night it draws people’s eyes and shows off your business.

  • Shell: 304 stainless steel by default, in a mirror-polished, brushed, or powder-coated finish.
  • Lighting: high-brightness, safe LEDs shining through a visible light-transmitting acrylic edge, for a strong, bright halo.
  • Mounting: flush to the wall, or off the wall when the site calls for it, such as on a curved wall.
  • Best for: flagship retail, hospitality, and storefronts, indoor or outdoor.

Classic Backlit Metal Letters

Details

Classic is the most common backlit sign, used for both large and small letters. It uses a stainless steel shell by default, with a laser-cut acrylic back panel hidden completely inside, so from the front or side you only see the metal shell. Light passes through the back panel onto the wall and reflects back, forming a soft, even halo around each letter. It must be mounted off the wall. It suits large letters, serif fonts, thin-stroke logos, and longer viewing distances. It’s a common choice for building facades, office and corporate exterior signage, oversized storefront signs, churches and institutions, and tougher outdoor walls.

  • Shell: stainless steel by default. Very large letters use aluminum to cut weight for shipping and installation.
  • Lighting: soft, even reflected halo (reverse-channel structure).
  • Mounting: off the wall on spacers and stud bolts, by default about 13/16 in (20 mm) out, so the light has room to spread into an elegant halo.
  • Best for: large letters and serif fonts, indoors or in harsh outdoor conditions.

Backlit Acrylic Letters

Details

Acrylic is the lighter, more refined route for indoor and outdoor spaces, made from a CNC-engraved solid acrylic shell on an aluminum back panel and lit from the back for an even halo. It suits office reception and lobby walls, showroom and retail interior branding, conference and boardroom signage, and storefronts, including recessed ones. An acrylic shell works indoors and outdoors. Outdoors, it is best mounted under an awning or canopy, where it lasts longer. For a wall open to the weather, we recommend a metal shell with an acrylic back panel.

  • Shell: CNC-engraved solid acrylic shell on an aluminum back panel, painted or powder-coated.
  • Lighting: LED modules inside. Light leaves through the unpainted acrylic sides near the back panel and falls on the wall for an even halo.
  • Mounting: flush by default, or off the wall on spacers and stud bolts.
  • Best for: reception walls, indoor branding, and outdoor storefronts under a canopy or roof.

Illuminated signs usually also need an electrical permit, which a licensed electrician applies for. Once you know your sign fits the local rules, we’ll build a custom sign that meets them.

Here's how a project moves from first contact to a tracked shipment. Two control gates are built in on purpose: payment never jumps straight to production, and production never jumps straight to shipping.

    For us, building the sign is the easy part. The costly mistake is a sign the local rules won’t allow, so check before you order. Rules can set the size, area, lighting, font, color temperature, finish, and more. For an outdoor business sign, start with your landlord or property manager for the building’s sign rules, then ask your city or town about a sign permit. An illuminated sign usually needs an electrical permit pulled by a licensed electrician, and a large or heavy sign may also need a building permit. For a business sign indoors, check with your landlord or property manager, because a sign seen from the street can still fall under local rules. At home, ask your HOA about an outdoor sign, or your city or town if there is no HOA. For an indoor sign at home, have an electrician confirm what the circuit at that spot can supply, and tell us what the wall is made of.

    This is the main pre-production gate. The drawing package confirms final dimensions, structural details, materials, finishes, mounting method, wiring-exit and hole positions, and installation notes. Production only begins after you approve the drawings, so the factory builds from a confirmed spec rather than an assumption. The drawings are yours to check, and you can also take them to your property manager, HOA, or city for approval or a permit. If anything comes up during approval, tell us right away. If you cancel after the shop drawings are sent, we keep a drawing fee of at least $500. Once production has started, we also keep the cost of materials and labor used so far, and the rest is refunded based on the amount we received through PayPal.
